Websites for local businesses

They looked you up on their phone. Then they called somebody else.

Maybe you don't have a website. Maybe you've got one from eight years ago that nobody's touched since. Either way, when a customer pulls out their phone and searches for what you do, you're not what they find. We build you a fast, mobile-first website that shows up and gets the phone ringing. $250 to build it. $99 a month. Live in 7 business days.

Two kinds of businesses call us. Pick your lane.

Both end up in the same place. They just start from different problems.

"I don't have a website at all."

You've gotten by on word of mouth and a Facebook page, and honestly it's worked. But referrals look you up before they call. Every single one of them. And when they search and find nothing, some of them quietly go with the guy who has something to look at.

You're not losing leads. You're losing customers you already earned.

"Mine's old. Real old."

Somebody built it years ago. Maybe a nephew, maybe a guy who's long gone. It still loads, technically. But it's tiny on a phone, half the info is wrong, and there's no way to call you without pinching, zooming, and squinting at a number. It's not helping. It might be hurting.

An old site tells a customer you might not be around anymore.

If any of this sounds familiar, you're the reason we built this.

These are the things business owners actually say when the subject comes up.

"I paid a guy three grand for a website four years ago. I don't think it ever brought me a single job."

"The kid who built it moved away. I don't even know how to get into it anymore."

"Somebody asked for my website last week and I had to say I don't have one. Made me feel like a small-timer."

"I've got a Facebook page. That's been enough. I think. I mean, it's been enough so far."

You don't need a fancy website. You need one that shows up, works on a phone, and makes it easy to call you.

Get my website

Takes about two minutes. We'll look at what you've got now, free.

Do this right now. It takes ten seconds.

Pull out your phone. Search your business name, or search what you do plus your town. Then look at what a customer sees. Here's what usually goes wrong.

You're not in the map results at all

The three businesses in that little map box get most of the calls. If you're not one of them, you're competing for scraps below the fold.

There's no button to call you

Your customer is holding a phone. If calling you takes more than one tap, some of them just don't. They go back and tap the next result instead.

You have to pinch and zoom to read anything

Google decides your ranking based on the phone version of your site, not the desktop version. A site that was never built for a phone is fighting uphill every single day.

Your services are stuck in a PDF

A PDF price list or menu is close to invisible to Google and painful to read on a phone. It might as well not be there.

The contact form goes nowhere

We find this constantly. The form still sits on the page, but it's been mailing to an address nobody has checked in three years.

It takes eight seconds to load

Out on a job site with two bars of service, a slow site never finishes loading. Your customer is gone before your logo shows up.

What you actually get

A finished website, built for you, that works the way a customer on a phone expects it to work.

Built for a phone first

Designed on a phone screen, then made to work on a desktop. Not the other way around. Big type, big buttons, nothing to pinch.

A call button that follows the thumb

One tap and their phone is dialing you. It stays on screen the whole time they're scrolling. No hunting for a number.

Written so Google knows what you do

Your service, your town, in the places Google actually reads. Most old sites never say plainly what they do or where they do it.

A contact form that reaches you

Goes straight to your email and your phone. Tested before launch and checked every month after. We make sure it still works.

Fast, hosted, and secure

Hosting, SSL, and the lock icon in the address bar, all handled. You never touch a server or renew anything.

A report every month, in English

How many people visited, what they searched to find you, how many tapped to call. One page. No dashboard to decode.

Get my website

We need about 20 minutes of your time. We handle the rest.

Three things you're probably thinking. Let's just say them out loud.

"I've paid for a website before and it did nothing."

We hear this more than anything else, and it's usually true. A lot of websites get built to look nice at a meeting and never get built to be found. If nobody can find it, and there's no easy way to call you from it, it's a very expensive business card. The whole point of this one is getting found and getting called. That's what we build for, and it's what the monthly report measures.

"What happens when you disappear on me?"

Fair question. It happens constantly in this business, and the usual version is worse than people realize: the guy who built your site registered your website name in his name, so when he vanishes, you can't even prove your own address is yours. We don't do that. Your website name is registered to your business, with you as the owner, from day one. If you ever decide to leave, you keep it. We unlock it and send you the transfer code within 3 business days of you asking. No hostage situation, no argument.

"$99 a month for what, exactly?"

Straight answer. It covers your hosting, your SSL certificate, and your website name registration and renewal, so nothing ever expires or goes dark on you. It covers your content changes when your hours, prices, services, or phone number change. It covers making sure your contact form still reaches you. And it covers your monthly visitor report. If a month goes by and you're not sure what you paid for, email us and ask. We'll tell you exactly.

Graziano Detailing on a phone

Graziano Detailing

Auto detailing and ceramic coating in Greenfield Township. Built to load fast, say plainly what Joe does and where he does it, and put a call button one tap from anywhere on the page.

Pull it up on your phone and try to call him. That's the whole idea.

How it works. Three steps, about 20 minutes of your time.

You are busy running a business. We built this so you barely have to think about it.

1

We talk for 20 minutes

What you do, where you do it, what you want the phone to ring about. That's the only meeting. We write every word for you.

2

We build it in 7 business days

You get a link to look at before anything goes live. Tell us what to change. Nothing publishes until you say go.

3

It goes live and stays live

We handle the hosting, the renewals, and the changes. You get a one-page report every month showing what happened.

One thing we need from you: photos. We write every word, and we'll use professional stock images so the site looks finished either way. But if you want your own trucks, your own crew, and your own finished jobs on it — and you should, because that is what makes a customer trust you — you have to send them to us. Text them or email them, whatever is easiest.

Two promises, in writing.

We are not going to ask you to trust a stranger who knocked on your door. So here is what we put in writing before you pay anything.

Live in 7 business days, or the build is free

From the day we finish our 20-minute call, your site is live within 7 business days. If we miss it, you don't pay the $250. We only take a few builds a month for exactly this reason.

Your website name is yours from day one

Your website name (your domain) is registered to your business, in your name. Leave whenever you want and you keep it. We unlock it and send you the transfer code within 3 business days.

Month to month. No contract. No cancellation fee. If it isn't working for you, you leave, and you take your name with you.

$250 to build it. $99 a month.

Most shops quote $3,000 to $5,000 for a small business website, then charge you again every time you need the hours changed.

One-time build fee
$250

then $99/month

Month to month. No contract. Cancel anytime.

One job pays for the build and most of the year. For a lot of trades, one job pays for all of it twice over.

Start my website

Fill this out and we'll call you back today. No cost, no obligation.

We'll take a look at what you have now and tell you straight what we'd do. Please don't send anything confidential through this form.

Or just call Zac directly. A real person picks up.

P.S. Here's the part that stings. The customer who couldn't find you last Tuesday didn't call to complain about it. They found somebody else, hired them, and you never knew it happened. That's the expensive part, and it's already happening every week.

Questions people ask

Why is this so much cheaper than everybody else?

Because we're not making our money on the build. We make it if you stay, and you only stay if the site is doing something for you. That's on purpose. We also don't have an office, a sales floor, or a project manager to pay for.

What if I already have a website name I've been using?

Then you keep it, and nothing changes. We just need access to point it at the new site. We never take ownership of a website name you already have.

What happens if I cancel?

You stop paying and the site comes down, because hosting is part of what the $99 covers. Your website name is still yours — we unlock it and send you the transfer code within 3 business days, and you keep it wherever you want. If you'd rather buy the site outright and take it with you, ask us and we'll give you a price.

How much of my time is this going to take?

About 20 minutes on the phone, and then looking over the draft before it goes live. We write every word for you. The only thing we need back from you is photos, if you want your own work on the site instead of stock images.

Will this get me to the top of Google?

Nobody can honestly promise you a position on Google, and you should walk away from anyone who does. What we can tell you is what we build for: a fast site, built for phones, that says clearly what you do and where you do it, so Google has something to work with. Then we send you a report every month so you can see what's actually happening instead of guessing.

Do I have to send you photos?

We write every word for you, and we'll use professional stock images so your site looks finished either way. But if you want photos of your own work on it, you have to send them to us. Your trucks, your crew, your finished jobs. Text them or email them, whatever is easiest. Real photos of real work beat stock photos every time, so it is worth the ten minutes.

How many changes do I get a month?

Normal business changes — hours, prices, services, phone number, adding photos, swapping out text. If you're running a business, you'll never hit a limit. If you want a whole new section or a new page built out, we'll quote it.

Do you handle my Google listing too?

That's a separate thing we do. This is the website. Your Google Business Profile — the reviews, the posts, the photos, the map listing — is what Ugetfound handles. They work best together, but you don't need both to start.

The website is where they land. Your Google listing is how they find you.

Ugetfound keeps your Google Business Profile active every week — the review replies, the posts, the photos — so you climb the map and show up in the first place. It's the other half of getting found.
